my ring bell is out of function

P.S no need to use special equipment for setting up??

I think you have change only the receiver battery.
But did you change the transmitter battery???

Since both Transmitter and receiver is drived by battery.
The transmitter is hided behind the ring bell button penal. (outside your apartment)

you take out the transmitter and change the battery.
It will be OK.

And there are many 鄰居 know how to change the bell.   No need to pay money for outside CFu.

We don't use the bell.
Instead,make a small notice "bell out of order, pls knock the door".
