Did any one have experience in using any degaussing device to erase all the data in the harddisk at your company?

I am looking for some effective device (or software like Norton Wipe Info / Active@Kill Disk) to erase data to avoid violate the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance.

Any good reference?
