What model is your Philips Plasma? I dont have any problem on mine. It should support multisystem.

I m using Fujitsu 42" plasma. but no tunner
i added one DVD-R for TV tuner. the DVD-R is Hyundai HYD-5001.
but i still can't receive the signal of CCTV 9 BBC 台灣電視??
why why?????? very disappointed now bcoz my plasma can't receive all the signal.......... :em01:

Don't disappoint.

Like you my Hyundai 900C could only search for 9 channels and some received bad signals(Only 6 or 7 could be viewed with a 'quality' picture).

Highly recommend you to buy another Plasma with built-in TV tuner 1 or 2 year later and remember no Fujitsu again coz the quality was not acceptable at all.

does anyone tried the traditional tape recorder as TV receiver??
