My mortgage is from BOC.  Is it also no need to buy fire insurance?

Previously they marked the deadline is 1 Oct and i argue with HSBC for a while and they insist we should buy it. Then after that day the money has been automatic transfer from the account la...we have no choice. But i will call the guy who argue with me. I must ask them to refund me!!!! :em13:

I see ... I see. You'd better urge them to refund it to you ASAP.
My case is almost the same but I told her if they debit my a/c without my signature/authorization I will complain and reserve the rights to sue them. Therefore they let me go. So next time don't be so kind.

hehe...i just call Ms Lau today and she said they will refund me within 1 month and they are now calling to all customers to inform them they have no need to buy such insurance. Thank you HelloKitty for your update information!!!!
