um ...I will not pay the maintenance for every year...so i will choose a good LCD when i buy it....hope can use it more than 5 years without repair la.... :mrgreen:
Plasma and LCD has its pros and cons and it’s hard to say which one is better.
Plasma is better for moving image like action movie. But its life time is shorter and consume much more power than LCD.
LCD is extra good for still image. Current model can’t produce full-motion picture which requires less than 15ms response time. So if you are big fan of the action movie LCD may not be a good choice at this moment.
Also the size of is another issue for LCD. In current market LCD dominates the 15’ to 32’ but Plasma focuses on 32’ to 60’.
Another consideration is the view distance. In our situation anything over 42’ is not suitable for the view distance less than 10 feet.
My recommendation is to find a high response time LCD with size around 30’ to 35’.
