I agree with you. These windows are too long unlike the traditional one. It does not only leave a big gap that may result falling object but also creates difficulty for window cleaning.

any example? for I know is different. for instance Island Resort is have a fixed window frame at lower part; only upper part can be open.

i agree. it's very funny to have a 'BIG BIG' gap. :?: 8)
