camera questions

I would like to buy a camera and learn how to take good photos.

So which model is for the entry level?  We saw that Nikon  D40X is sold $6180 at DC fever.  Is it a reasonable price?  Is it a good shop to buy camera?

And what kind of lens we need to buy together in this initial stage?

I would say....
D40x is not worth to buy for general user if Budget is limited
I will think of D40 instead of D40x.....

but generally speaking D40 is really "Too Entry Level...."
and can only use limited Lens...btw it really have a very attractive price..haha

My opinion If you want Nikon the Consider D80 instead
if budget is very limited  then thinking of D40 however if you can
pay for the D40x I deeply recommend Canon 400D instead of D40x...
400D is much worth than D40x....
