For local channels they are all PAL. But like Star Channel like BBC CNN  StarSport etc it maybe NTSC orignally. Some of building's TV system won't convert it to PAL.  In that case you need a Multi-Tunner which can support both PAL and NTSC. The traditional TVs in market are mostly Multi. It's not the case for Plasma/LCD TV.

Some Plasma/LCD can display NTSC/PAL signal on Video input but the tunner can handle PAL or NTSC only. Be careful when u purchase and ask more question before you buy one.

Anyway if your Tunner support PAL it should work fine for RC's setup.

In term of signal quality I found it was not too bad for T5.

i want to know "what is the brand of your TV and tunner??"
Are all channel in RC Pal?? or only local channels??
Can you search all 13 channels in RC??? Please help... :mrgreen:

My Plasma is Philips 42FP9966. The build in tuner is PAL only. I think I can search most of channels. I got only 12 but not 13. Maybe I should search it more carefully. If you tuner support manual search try that out. The auto-search sometime will skip the channel with bad quality.
