u need to be fair
that means
if your spk is $1000
u seldom spend $200 on cable
so...
you can 'calculate' the percentage and get what you need to spend easily
some sony fans will spend $4000
on the whole set
you cannot guess they are spending $1000 on cable
and then
you get the 'budget'
and then you get the 'price for each meter of cable'
remember
the spk and the CONNECTOR and the CABLE need to match
that means even you buy a perfect cable with rubbish connect and perfect spk and perfect amp
you are still wasting your equipment
好似我有部勁古老(actually 10 yrs ago那時讀書冇$)
sharp 10W max outp
就用原廠香雞咁幼都ok
至於後置...
有些出品是default有好大range出唔到(3dB range very small)
咁買咁多$不如買過對spk好過...
e.g. if you speaker is expensive but not good in performance
and you spend $1K on the rear spk cable...
i suggest you use $100 cable and then throw the spk away with a pair of spk bought with the $1000
