Personnally I did not ask for the change of 空心磚.
I thought the significance is the distribution of the points.
If there are 4 points in the middle it is still acceptable.
On the other hand even if there is only 3 points on one side the loading is uneven and it has to be changed.

but the scratches... no comment...
