我住 Inter-contiental The Grand New Delhi near connaught place
and this hotel to Taj Mahal takes 4 hours I take the car from hotel at 8am and back to hotel at 8pm........ :dead: :dead: :dead: there's many camel and horse in the road...interesting... :
Actually there's many good hotel in delhi eg. Hyatt regency oberio imperial...
i didn't tried the inidian food this time co'z my customer not like it and whole trip we ate italian food in hyatt regency hotel taste very good...you can try.... :em04: :em04:
for shopping you can try "Deli Haat" like a village but you need to buy a ticket not expensive some local food restaurant there.... remember to bargin with them things are really cheap......
**Remarks: $750rp entrance fees to Taj Mahal for tourist local resident seems free of charge you cannot bring calculator video camera or any electronic device into this place and you need to have a security check before entry.
good luck bring some water by yourself some medicine as well

Thanks Mrs. Firefire for the info. If Inter-Continental is 4 hours away from Taj Mahal then I will need to find a hotel a little closer to Taj Mahal as the last flight to Pune is at 4:30pm Sunday! I had enough Indian food a week ago in Singapore so I'm going to try to eat "other cleaner food" if I have a choice. I probably won't have time to shop at Delhi Haat but there should be plenty of cheap stuffs to buy in Mombai and Pune.
