我係一名大老闆的秘書要聽好多找老闆的電話
我英文唔係好好
要講尊業的英語好吃力
有時個幾句例牌句唔夠應付
講得唔好比電話的人(鬼) 鬧!
剛剛先比隻鬼省到"立立玲" :cry:

有d分明係老闆唔會聽尤其係sales 或者係cold call
老闆一句話唔聽或者叫我問佢"有乜野事?"
我就好難擋駕!

您如果話老闆去開會(I am sorry Mr X has a meeting right now. May I take a message?) 佢一陣話又打過來其實老闆根本不會聽....

"請問您搵Mr X係乜野事?" - 英文可以點講?

通常d友都話係: personal matter

老闆更加不會聽咁我又可以點?

唔通重要耍大極又話"老闆開會一陣覆?"

我試過比d死鬼好野蠻鬧 "話點解您老闆成日開會唔聽電話?"

just say "hello ...hello .. I can't hear you..hello hello.."

say again "hello....hello....louder...please .....hello.."

Do you have any friend who speak Mandarin? You better chat with them frequently ~Practise makes perfect!~ Not very difficult! Be confident!

Sorry ! I do not have friend who speak Mandarin.
Seems need to attend course to build-up.

Vivian to practise Mandarin you can try to listen to mandarin news or taiwan/china programs

If you would like to learn eng try eng news/dramas

this will help.

你可以問佢地: Is there anything urgent? I am his secretary is there anything I can do for you? Or would you mind to leave your name company name and contact number I will ask him to call you back as soon as he can.

personal matters .... should be a common excuse used by head-hunters. You can ask them to call your boss at his mobile. If they are really friends they will definitely have. If not you just don't have to tackle them.

if they ask for your boss's mobile just tell them that you don't have / not authorised to disclose the information.

Just tell them your boss is a real business man he has a lot of appointments so if they can leave you with more info you can help to pass the details to the boss with highest priority.
