In terms of branding and packaging Samsung is more renown in high end models and plasma than Philips

Philips have 30" LCD cost about $29xxx. Not same technology as the one with 21xxx. The one of $21xxx is cheaper because they use a lower technology as the LCD monitor for computer. You can check the quality. The cheaper one like have a coating on top. Only Philips has this lower grade LCD TV.

I think different brand and model is not important if we buy it from a single shop. But we must buy "Hong" goods more security. May be in mid May we can gather our LCD TV's brand and model that we want then we can ask for discount right ! :em19:

1.我行左好耐根本42吋PLASMA 唔洗唸實唔O岩裝
2.我見到最平既PLASMA係華人行Panasonic 37吋賣$20000 最平
3.我巳經睇中左32吋既LCD TV samsung $28800 (鐳射)最平 funtion 最好包5年零死點保養

There is a brand new Hitachi LCD TV model is 28LD5000TA.
28 inches it can connect PC and also has DVI & RGB input and picture in picture too. THe price is $22000 (cash price). What is your opinion?

係fortress買野要小心d 佢間間鋪d特價貨都唔同當日我係fortress買左一部display既tv set 佢比左用原價計50% off 我. 我見部機都好新雖然冇warranty最後都買左. 點知過海係九龍見到個邊做promo 個價錢同我比既一樣...
一問d sales先發覺原來件貨一直都有特價不過佢間店就做special　promo所以咁平...

所以就算同一集團都應該行多幾間會好d.

$22000係分期架喇以我所知豐澤同CMK都做到CMK現金價仲只係20xxx;百老匯都係22000分期但只有18個月.
仲有唔知點解呢部機係友誠上高果D鋪頭賣得仲貴如果要做分期都係係豐澤買最平

我地原本都打算買Sharp Aquos 30"LCD，因為有日豐澤見到Sharppromotion，睇DVD極正。。睇完一輪後就問佢可否播電視，但就話冇天線收唔到。。
但當某日打算去中原(本人覺得度買電器較平)格價時，即被一sales制止，及叫我地睇睇播電視質責! 嘩，質素極差，但播DVD就極好...sales更就指出屋企會睇咩多先，梗係電視啦，咁佢就suggest我地買一部平過部LCDPlasma....講真Plasma睇TV好過LCD好多所以我地就買部42" Philips  Plasma送套home theatre同24個月免息分期好抵!!

$28880 可以分期!! 其實各位買咩牌子都好，最緊要係睇佢睇電視台質素，因為Plasma and LCD 睇DVD係差唔多。人話LCD比較耐用，但係依家Plasma都可以用八，九年以上，所以要試清楚先好買。不過我買但係末安裝，所以話唔到俾大家知道佢值幾多分。。。我諗要到六月先可以同大家詳論。但係呢架機有Built-In tuner同External tuner兩種。我就買External tuner果隻因為插其他DVD player PS2 recorder etc 比較方便，唔洗抬部Plasma落. 仲有，呢部機有7組Input，同佢Pixel Plus真係有好大分別。

If you need to see more samsung model you can go to Grand Century Place in MongKok ( next to Mongkok KCR station). Samsung and philips ( Inot sure for this) have show room and you can ask and found answer there. Plus a plenty of interior design in this shopping mall. I am using Plasma TV and it OK. For the LCD the pic is more sharp.

我初時都想用２９吋CRT 不過你可以試根據資料用紙裁出一個"螢幕“你會發現２９吋在牆上是一個很小的面積，如果是CRT (Sony Wega) 29" 是506mm 厚重量達55kg! 683' 單位的廳大約是９呎闊 42' plasma 差不多了

Sony used the Trinitron picture tube instead of traditional tube. Instead of drawing the picture from top to bottom Trinitron tube divided the picture into three parts electron will draw from top to middle and so on. The color is sharper than other manufacturer maybe. But you will find 2 very small thin line in the middle of the screen.

I think top model of WEGA ENGINE TV is still one of the best.

發現lcd係快速鏡頭表現真係唔多掂
會慢d有跳格既情況
重要係而家lcd表現比較好既飛利x身上出現
所以我都係選plasma

42' contrast ratio 3000:1 with external tuner.

If u have DBS credit card it only costs 26900 for JVC 42" plasma from Tai Lam...the original price is around 60000.....

If the size of LCD is less than or equal to 32" u can consider to buy LCD.
But if larger than 32" buying plasma is best because of the display quality.

Also hearing from different staffs of the AV shops the famous brand of LCD is Samsung and Sharp whereas the one of plasma is Hitachi and Philips. Maybe u can go out to ask about this. Also observe it by your eyes.

Don't watch the demo pictures. Go to different shops to watch. I think most of us will watch TV programmes rather than DVD... After that I think u can make your choice.

Recently I go to many shops to compare them.

Frankly speaking at the beginning I want to buy LCD. But after observing its ability in playing fast shots I choose to buy Hitachi 32".
Because LCD cannot play smooth in fast shot i.e. time lag observed of the same object.

U can check it. Maybe u can ask the staff to play DVD movie with fast shot. U can know what I say. I want to watch football match happily. So say no to LCD.

我今天在旺角星際泰林買了Sharp 的30"LCD TV，原廠保養兩年，送掛牆架及安裝，原價32800，用DBS話可以有折，成九二折，已慳$2500。個sales仲話見我新居入伙，可以再送一些入伙電器給我們，於是我選了一個值$2300的微波烤焗爐，再加一把$500冷氣風扇，最後因為我不記得帶DBS 咭，用恒生咭都可以照折比我，於是埋單三萬零幾買了三樣野，仲有廿四個月免息分期。計落個LCD TV 慳了$5000，我老婆還央那SALES送了個MONCHICHI馬騮公仔和電話套，真是購物從未如此著數過。
我想是不是未來LCD TV價格會狂瀉才會有如此著數，比豐澤的免供一期還要著數，我們相信未來百來匯一定會加入減價潮，大家拭目以待。另外個SALES 叫TERRY，幾靚仔(我老婆話，嗚)，有興趣便找他問問吧。

各位可以去華x行
或者旺角body shop樓上那些av鋪夾價
用我想買個部Hitachi 32" plasma為例
豐x賣 28900(好似係)
泰x賣 26500-27000已經係比左discount
但係係那些av鋪一開始已經係20800未開始講價
所以大家不妨行多幾間掃樓
你一定會有意外驚喜

成個星期都無時間上黎
ttchan我上次問到20800個價係係屯門市廣場那間華x行度聽到
我自己唔係驚display呢樣野
我都打算去個d av鋪買只係有排都未會買住
因為間屋而家先係執緊漏
不過我都要問下d friend係咪新機係未拆盒
希望係咁應該可以分到係咪display

better don't shop at the AV shop above Body shop in Mongkok cos there are a lot of Black Shop ga.....they always tell u a lower price but once u decided to buy they said they have no stock...some of my friends were trapped.

MAGo個部唔得架panasonic o個部好好多...
呢兩部我早排都有睇過

samsung就唔知lor

不過要注意如果o係旺角既華人會mag同panasonic兩部機放到好開
好難比較架

Be aware that mosr plasmer are not included speaker and tuner.  It means that you need to buy some assessory to support.  Take a example in Apr.  Broadway and Fortress have special discount for Fujisu 42 Plasmer and just cost ~24000.  But it it not contain tuner and speaker.  You need to pay 888 for speaker and tuner by VCR.

Most old model in Plasmer are not included Speaker and Tuner.  Because early phase plasmer mainly for road show and promosion.  So. the cost very high (over 60K) and without sound system and reciever.

I get the promotion in newspaper last Sat.  Chung Yuen have a special discount for Fujisu Plasmer TV but it is old model and without the speaker and Tuner. They will have a gift for you is DVDR for tuner.  For speaker issued still outstand.

The second pt are quite critical.  The maintainence is very expensive.  When the screen direct shine by sun will affect the set life.\

You can use the VCR or DVDR for tuner. But the quality may not so good.
